Swan, swim over the sea.
Swim, swan, swim!
Swan, swim back again.
Well swum, swan!
These swans didn't swim over the sea but they did swim very fast towards us, expecting (and receiving) food and then they swam away again when it was all gone!

The swans are beautiful! We have some in out city at a pond, and they are precious. Makes me want to go see them. ~
These guys are beautiful! Such peace and calmness are captured, along with beauty, in this photo.
I adore geese for so many many reasons
Such serene shadows these swans cast. Lovely.
lovely photos - I had birds for my shadows today too!!
beautiful I can sit and watch geese and swans forever
These are amazing photos. Mallards and swans swimming together.
I think swans elicit everyone's admiration by their elegant look. Unfortunately we don't have them in the last years.
Beautiful swans. I travel to another community for lunch sometimes where there is a private home that raises them in their own large pond.
I could sit for hours and watch them drift around the lake but when they have their babies they can get rather protective when you get too close.
They are so beautiful aren't they? I love swans. I can't do tongue twisters too well though!
Oh I love white swans! So pretty - we only have the black ones here (which are very lovely too of course!). Wonderful shots!
These are such beautiful and majestic looking creatures. Lovely captures! I also enjoyed that little poem at the beginning of your post. Quite the tongue twister!
Okay they got tired of swimming back and forth quack!
Such a majestic creature, thanks for sharing!
Great pictures
they're so graceful
and they offer up wonderful reflections
Glad to see you are back. The swans are so poised! The shadows on them and the water rippling offer
lots to think about photographically.
Nice shadows :)
Thank you everyone! The photo credits must go to Barry - he's far more patient than I am and takes time over his shots.
