'Be yourself, everyone else is taken.' Oscar Wilde
Oh, I've been away so long but it's great to be back and catching up with everyone!
Interesting how grey days give the rest of nature a chance to shine, hope you are enjoying all the sunshine filled skies in Sky Watch.
The sky is moody and the scenes are beautiful.
A wonderful photo essay! The shots are somber perhaps but it was your last statement of 'a pleasure to be outside' that brought hope for us all. :)
I think we've all had a generous slice of grim and grumpy and gray skies! These are great shots though! Everyone is probably tired of hearing me say how much I love the bare trees against the sky, but I do find them to be so beautiful and the ones here are just that. Hope you have a great weekend!Sylvia
Rain rain go away.....(same here)

O, I have great empathy for dank damp days, - we have had more than our share of them, but they have brought signs of spring blooming early. I lovely your photos.

I love how the trees' bark is nearly black from the rain and I could almost smell the coming spring in these photos. Nicely done!
Great atmosphere and charming skies in these wonderful pictures!
Eileen, Lianne - thank you:-)Noni - it smelt . . . damp! Lots of rotting leaves underfoot - great mulch!Pietro - thank you so much
It looks grey! Hope the sun has come out since you took these photos.
Stine - it is an absolutely beautiful day today - heavy frost this morning and now bright sun, blue sky, fluffy white clouds - heaven!
It's nice to see that you folks are enjoying dank weather, too. After our record snow and a couple of lovely sunny days, we're back to the winter grey--not nearly as pretty as yours, though.
Beautiful wintry rainy day photos. The sun's out her right now but rain's on its way.Hugs and blessings,
