It may be just a plastic bottle to you . . .
Next time you empty a plastic bottle consider what you might
do with it. It could be used as a cheap way to water your plants, or as a wasp trap
or a mole deterrent.
However, someone in Sitio Malagaya in the Phillippines has
found a really useful

What a brilliant idea! It might not help much at night but it certainly makes the days brighter. I don't buy a lot of plastic bottles and the ones I don't recycle get new uses. In the winter months when we do spay/neuter clinics the kittens sometimes get cold even though we are in a warm building. I fill a small plastic bottle with hot water, wrap it in a towel, and use it to warm them.

ReplyDeleteApparently the idea was designed and developed by students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Not sure if it works in the dark!!
