The animated Bayeux Tapestry or 1066 and all that . . .

The animated Bayeux Tapestry or 1066 and all that . . .

This was a student project created by David Newton at Goldsmiths College with music and sound effects created by Marc Sylvan.

It certainly brings the tapestry to life!

  1. This would be a great way to teach history to kids.

  2. What a wonderful piece of animation. I've always known William the Conqueror won the Battle of Hastings, but this makes it real. I agree it would be a great way to teach history. The tapestry itself is beautiful, but the animated version really brings it to life.

  5. Very clever, I love the shouting of the football crowd during the battle scenes!

I have been away from the computer for a couple of weeks too and have only just caught up with your final A-Z stories. Well done!
