Our weekend walks

We had a couple of dry fine days at the weekend. On Saturday there was a cold wind gusting every now and then, causing me to hang on to my hat.

We saw three roe deer – the first we’ve seen for a few weeks. I guess they’ve been sheltering deeper in the forest, trying to avoid the relentless rain. Saturday’s sun enticed them into the open, along with a number of dog walkers, cyclists, runners and young children.
Sunday was beautiful, not as windy or as cold.

Bill and Beatrice Crow joined us.

  1. Lovely video of the deer. We used to see them in the field behind us...now it is a sea of houses.

    1. Thank you, Delores. It's sad when housing developments encroach on beautiful views.

  4. Three fascinating videos. Interesting to see the deer in the first one, and I could hear the wind. And in the second two -- what a a beautiful romp with dogs. What a nice area for them to romp!!

    1. It's not nice being trapped by the weather. However, the days are getting longer and Spring is just around the corner - the trouble is that some corners are very long . . .
