Here's mine!
The billboard had been snapped so it should have read:
Lazy DogfishCamp- resort FULL
Cabins – pool UNHEATED
Hot shower – EXTRA
NO PETS
PARKING

Excellent! I love the idea of the billboard being snapped in one of those southern windstorms. I'll be thinking about this all day!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Ah, not as welcoming as it first seemed. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove it. :)
Many campsites could read like that I suspect
ReplyDeleteNow that makes much more sense :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised it's full! Hot shower extra? No pets?
ReplyDeleteVery funny mircofiction!
Very inviting place, lol !
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds about right to me and I think I've stayed at a few like that in my younger days! Fun take on the pic for the day! Have a great week, Janice!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
ee, in my day that would have been paradise. Mine is a homage to On the Waterfront this week and is here.
ReplyDeleteGood take, now we know the truth about the Lazy Dog. Not my first choice for lodging I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip.
OH, I like this! Kind of the Paul Harvey approach -- the REST of the story! And so often true when traveling. The other day we had to stop by a local Hampton Inn to pick up a rental car and I saw that wifi access was $8.95 per night. Maybe they waive that if you actually check in. I think I'd just go without internet!
ReplyDeleteI chuckled out loud at this one. Very clever and unique. Thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteIt's bad when you don't get all of the information. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteOh, I loved this!! Very creative!! I get such a kick out of reading everyone's MM stories!!
ReplyDeletehilarious!!in fact exactly what often happens after you have checked in believing those billboards infront of hotels!!!
ReplyDelete...WOW!you know F. Engineer? that is great!i didn't ever get to see him play because he stopped playing for India before i was born. my husband is much more informed about him because, as a student,(almost all indian boys especially do)he made it his business to know everything about our legendary cricketers!
cricket is like a religion in India..the cricketers god!and i too invariably got caught inthis web, more so after marriage!!
Please tell Mr.Engineer whenever you happen to meet him, that we are proud of players like him who helped put Indian cricket on the world map.
love,
A
;) You made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThey're predicting straight-line winds for us tonight. I wonder what interesting billboards they may bring!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a place we stayed at once at the beach! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good place not to stop at,
ReplyDeleteI love this! This is very original and clever!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Witty MM! Amazing how some words can change the meaning of a picture. Have a wonderful day.
