Terrific shots, Janice! Looks like a lovely day! Hopefully, she'll settle in and enjoy. Change for us old ones is never easy!! Have a wonderful weekend!
A lovely peaceful view always helps bring contentment to me. I would look for deer in that field in the evenings. Hope she settles in...change is difficult sometimes.
Yes, beautiful views. I have given my husband strict instructions that if I ever have to be put in a home it must be one that will let me have a cat or dog.
Thank you, folks :-) Barry's mother is 93 and has lived in this area for about 30 years so it is very familiar to her. Unfortunately, she has dementia which is progressing quite rapidly and it is impossible for her to return to her own home.
What a lovely place Janice, such pretty countryside. Thanks for stopping by. To answer your questions, even though Mt Rainier is considered an active volcano, there is no evidence of any imminent danger. There is a very interesting website giving more info about it: http://skywalker.cochise.edu/wellerr/students/rainier/rainier.htm An English Girl Rambles

It is sad when we have to accept the toll age charges. I hope she will soon settle in, my love and hugs, Sylvia xx
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful grounds and views. Change is never easy, no matter how old one is.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful but it's always so hard to be displaced. I hope she can be happy eventually.
