We have a lot of Canada gees in Norway. Some days ago I saw them starting ther plows to leave the country for this year. That is always a bit depressing, that is the first autumn sign for me! Sigh..
I love watching birds fly over!
This shows you how parochial I am: I never knew that Canada geese were anywhere in the world but North America!BLESSED BE THE SKYCloudy, clear,Bright or drear—Blessed be the sky!Sun and star,Near or far—Blessed be the sky!Rain or snow,Sunset glow—Blessed be the sky!Wind or calm,Healing balm—Blessed be the sky!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherArizona Sunset
No matter what the color of the sky, the birds make it beautiful! And the geese are awesome! I always love seeing them flying in groups like these that you've captured so perfectly! Hope you have a lovely weekend!Sylvia
I love the sound they make as they travel bybeautiful shots
Great captures, I always like to stop and watch the geese as they fly over my house. I usually hear them coming first.
I haven't seen many geese flying, this year! I hope they have not abandonned us altogether! I love to watch them flying, and I love to hear their calls!
Impressive, I didn't realize you would have Canada geese there
I love watching the geese fly in the autumn - we live on one of the great migration routes, and sometimes we get thousands of them, as well as snow geese and tundra swans. Gorgeous! Well, except for the poop:((
Lovely sky shots.My Skywatch
Same sky as here without the Canada geese, grey !
Lovely shots! We had about 40 on the lake the other day...
Even with the grey skies the Canada geese make a beautiful sight as they fly. It shouldn't be much longer before we start seeing them head south.
Beautiful. I know the area and have often seen the geese. Thanks for activating the memory cells.
One year on the coldest day of winter, a flock of migrating PELICANS landed on the river. It was an awesome sight.Right now we are enjoying the humming birds in our back yard.
Thank you all:-) @li:- I imagine the mess is worth the sight;-)@Linda:- what a wonderful sight that must have been - a once in a lifetime moment.
Wonderful shots of the Canada Geese. I love the flowers in your Header banner too.
Hi J.,These are wonderful shots. I guess it is that time of year already.Have a wonderful weekend,Kathy M.
I always love to read about "a skein of Canada Geese" in another country. Makes my heart proud, somehow. And I never fail to get excited when they fly over our little part of town in their familiar V. Thanks, Janice.— KKay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
