Fiona at Raindrops and Daisies is hosting Green Day. Just post a photo of something green and link back to her blog. Quick and easy . . .
My 'green' was taken on a calm dry day this summer when damselflies were able to fly. Today they would be blown away by gusty winds battering the trees and shrubs.
and it's a very nice green landing area for them! :)
ReplyDeleteYour green picture is so alive and fresh!
ReplyDeleteThe damselflies may have been washed away during some of the recent downpours here. You photo is beautiful and the "damsel" was certainly cooperative!

Wonderful photograph.
ReplyDeleteI almost forget what sunshine is like!
Fingers crossed we get our summer soon!
Thanks so much for joining up today with the Green Day link up.
Have a great weekend

I love the light you have got shining on those lovely green leaves.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo! Yes, today I was scared that small childen may be blown away so I took them indoors! Lego baseboards were flying through the air!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I can barely remember the last calm dry day we had here in Cornwall! At least you have evidence of our "Summer"!.
ReplyDeletePretty green and pretty damsel fly.
ReplyDeleteLoving the green! It's such an under-rated colour. :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's a little award for you at my blog if you have time...

I'm visiting from Raindrop & Daisies Green Day.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photograph, very pretty.
What a lovely picture. I've seen those insects before but didn't know what they were. I thought it was a dragonfly.
ReplyDeletePięknie Twoje zielone, nasłonecznione zielone liście ozdobiła czerwona ważka. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteYour beautifully green, sunlit green leaves adorned with a red dragonfly. Yours.
A nice contribution to Green Day...
ReplyDeleteBest wishes and have a nice day

Lovely capture of the green and the damselfly. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely shot - love the green bokeh in the background. It was sunny here yesterday and it looks like it is today too (as it would be because I'll be stuck in the office all day!).
ReplyDeleteAnd a lovely green-day photo it is too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture. :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely photo!
