  2. This is the sign of an outstanding writer. This is what I want people to say about my charcaters :)

  3. Oh I know, when I’m really into a book and its characters I hate when it finishes and I have to put it away. Mind you there are books I can hardly bear to open again after the first chapter or two.

But I don’t weep, I just start another one and hope for the best.

  5. I can certainly understand this. It doesn't happen often, but, when it does, I feel I'm leaving friends behind.

  6. I finished the second draft of my second book last night. I loved every minute of it.

Now let's see what I think when it comes back to me in paper form...

  7. Oh I have been there. But you don't read it slowly that's the problem

  8. Sadly, not often. But The Time Traveller's Wife - well, I made that last chapter last for days!

  9. Occasionally I get this - I feel quite bereft. I sit for days wondering what they are all up to!

  10. I confess that there have been several books where I felt this way. Pride and Prejudice comes to mind.
