A joke
purloined from elsewhere and adapted
Bob’s car ran out of petrol and a bee flew in through his window.
‘Have you
run out of fuel?’ the bee asked.
Bob
agreed that he had.
‘Wait there a minute,’ said the bee, as if Bob had any other choice, and flew off.
Minutes passed before the bee returned, leading a swarm of bees into the petrol tank. A short while later the bees emerged. As they flew past Bob, one of them said, ‘Try it now.’
Bob did so and to his surprise the car started.
’Wow,’ said Bob. ‘What did you put in the
tank?’
Over his
shoulder, the bee called out . . .
BP
Groan!
