A joke

A joke purloined from elsewhere and adapted

Bob’s car ran out of petrol and a bee flew in through his window.

‘Have you run out of fuel?’ the bee asked.

Bob agreed that he had.

‘Wait there a minute,’ said the bee, as if Bob had any other choice, and flew off.

Minutes passed before the bee returned, leading a swarm of bees into the petrol tank. A short while later the bees emerged. As they flew past Bob, one of them said, ‘Try it now.’

Bob did so and to his surprise the car started.

’Wow,’ said Bob. ‘What did you put in the tank?’

Over his shoulder, the bee called out . . .

  2. A honey bee can fly up to 15 miles per hour.
A honey bee worker only makes an average
of 1/12 of a teaspoon in her lifetime...
One ounce of honey would fuel a bees flight
    around the world...
A pound honey is made by 2 million flower visits..!

What does a bee use to style her hair?
    Her honey comb, of course...

What would bears be without bees?
    Just ears...

What is a swarm of really small queen bees called?
    The royal wee...

    When do bees get married?
    When they’ve found their honey...

    Why do bees hum?
    They don’t know the words...

    I think I'll 'Buzz' off then.....! :O)

    2. Thank you for the clarification. That fits. Barry had a friend with one such car in the early 60s.
