  1. Cats and dogs go get along, or at least there do.

    1. I think the cats like the warmth and security of a big dog.

    1. It's lovely when cats do sleep together, but it doesn't usually last long.

  6. Hi Janice - wonderful ... took me back to my teenage years of the times I had to spend reading in bed with my cat at my feet - I couldn't possibly move otherwise I'd interrupt her! Lovely and delightful pics - cheers Hilary

    1. It's very rude to disturb a resting cat. My cat used to sleep under the covers on my feet when I was a child. Lovely memories.

  7. It's cold enough here this morning at 46° that they look snuggly warm to me. Precious is out on her patio in the cold, silly girl.

    1. Precious has got a lovely fur coat to keep her warm, but even so, she's pushing her luck a bit.

  8. Hello Jabblog, this is my first visit to your blog, but I guess it won't be my last - the photos of cat and dog sleeping so peacefully together pulled my right in, making me want to join them for a cosy nap.
Thank you for reading my post about kindergarten friends and how we don't forget the names of people that came into our lives when we were very little. I even still remember the names of our landlord and the other families who lived in the same house, although I have never had anything to do with them after we moved to a different part of Germany when I was about 4 1/2 years old.

    1. Hello, Librarian, and welcome.
First days of school are much on my mind at present, with another little family member starting on that great journey today. I'm sure her memories will be formed now and will be reinforced by her older cousins in years to come.

    1. Gilbert (dog) may not be quite so relaxed about it all. The cats have a habit of kneading and their claws are sharp!
