Ten years ago
These photographs popped up on my Facebook page today.
Left to right: Roxy, Jenna, Gus, Lolly, Bertie.
Roxy and Lolly are still with us. Lolly is eleven and lives in London. Roxy is ten.
Roxy, Bertie and Jenna. Roxy still loves to carry a ball. She used to follow Bertie everywhere. Now she follows Gilbert!
That is one handful of dogs!
ReplyDeleteAll well controlled by biscuits! 😉
DeleteNo wonder you are known locally as "The Dog Woman of Berkshire"! I sense that you would not have been the same woman without your dogs. It is obvious that they have greatly enriched your life.
ReplyDeleteThey have. We have been very lucky. They're not everyone's choice by any means.
DeleteI love to look back at memories, either cats or grandchildren, a great way to start the day.
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to get lost in memories.
DeleteWhen a lovely little menagerie!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteThat look like a fun day for everyone involved. The dogs look like they were having a great time. Have a happy Sunday
ReplyDeleteThose are woods local to us and much loved by the dogs.
DeleteI so admire people who can control more than one dog at a time, I came to dog ownership relatively late in life and despite a fair bit of effort our dogs aren't very well trained.......bad dog , bad owner????
ReplyDeleteThe photos are lovely.

It's so much easier if you have greedy dogs and all ours have been food orientated, but you never stop learning.
DeleteHappy memories, all of you enjoying the day. And you in complete control?
ReplyDeleteBiscuit control!
DeleteSweet memories
ReplyDeleteSmashing dogs.
DeleteHappy times indeed!
ReplyDeleteThey were - still are with our current dogs.
DeleteLove the dogs!
ReplyDeleteThank you. 😊
DeleteAnd that is why they call you "the leader of the pack'@
ReplyDelete. . . or an old bitch . . .
DeleteWhat a grand crew you had! Some years ago we walked in our surrounding forest with up to six dogs. Those were happy times.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to see them all out together.
Deletethe most we had at one time were three, all about the size of these dogs. Life without a dog is no life at all for me... I was so glad when I married and got my own house because I could have indoor dogs. Daddy let us have one only but not in the house. I would love all your dogs, those gone and still with you. I would love to play with them in that beautiful yard
ReplyDeleteI dread the day when I can no longer have dogs, so I know what you mean.
DeleteThat is quite a canine contingent!
ReplyDeleteAll working Labradors, and mostly related along the way . . .
DeleteWhat a pack of handsome dogs!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteYou have trained your dogs well.
ReplyDeleteHi Janice - they don't really look pack like ... more an organised chaos of many legs!! Great to see them all and you ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteHappy days indeed!
ReplyDeleteA lovely collection (and look back) of photographs.
All the best Jan
What a fine collection of canines!
ReplyDeleteI get the feeling that you like dogs, but perhaps I am being presumptive.
ReplyDeleteThese are precious memories.
