Wrong directions?
Why is
there a bus in the forest? Did TomTom give inaccurate directions? ‘Take the
next turning on the right’ can often lead the unwary into a dead end or a field
gate or even the driveway to someone’s house.
We’ll
never know why the bus was there. It was a strange sight.

did you try searching for local news about it? I have a HUGE curostity bump and that is what I would do... no ideas from me, very odd
ReplyDeleteNothing in the local news or on the Facebook group.
DeleteOne of life's mysteries that may never be solved.
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteLost for sure -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteIt's odd!
DeleteHa, P would have gone right up there to have a good nosey around. He has curiosity running through all his bones!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there were any people around to ask, or Barry would have asked, definitely.
DeleteWell there was a sight you'd not expect. Makes for an interesting subject matter if you ever figure out what went wrong for the driver.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long it took him to realise he wasn't on the right track!
DeleteThose directions! Straight up a gum tree.
ReplyDeleteThe directions never seem to be up to date . . .
DeleteHi Janice - complete loss of common sense in some?! Ridiculous ... seemingly they're only from down the road in Binfield ... even more stooooopid!! Cheers and happy extra hour's zizz ... Hilary
ReplyDeleteI know. Surely they'd know better?
DeleteAll those who wander are not lost
ReplyDeleteThey may not have been, but I cannot find out.
DeleteA strange sight indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't belong . . .
DeleteIt does make one curious... so strange.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteYes, quite an enigma there.
ReplyDeleteTurning round to exit must have been quite a performance.
DeleteSomeone has some explaining to do.
ReplyDelete'Oops' doesn't quite cut it!
DeleteHmm...my brain...the incongruity made me think it's either the beginning of a horror story or the end of a comedy.
ReplyDelete. . . a comedy of errors . . .
DeleteHow intriguing! I hope you'll be able to find out what was going on, as I am very curious ... xxx
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any joy yet, but am still hoping.
DeleteThat is strange.
ReplyDeleteOdd, yes.
DeleteHaha! What an interesting find! Looks like a beautiful forest too.

It is beautiful there, but more so without the coach!
DeleteIt's so pleasing to see public transport expanding to less populated areas.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
DeleteSome bus driver is going to have a very red face.
ReplyDeleteI think so - I hope I'll get to the bottom of it.
DeleteIt's a mystery.
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteProbably a tour bus that shows off the fall trees. Several such groups seem to be options to schedule from different communities. Wonder what kind of smoking they allowed on that one? Or, used the wrong map app. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteThey wouldn't get very far along that track.
DeleteI'd say the bus got lost and the forest ranger s there to guide him out and the taxi is for passengers who need to be somewhere else faster.
ReplyDeleteYou could be right.
DeleteBus load of nature seekers? Nice talk about forests from the ranger?
ReplyDeletePossibly, but not something we've ever seen before.
DeleteAn unexpected sight, that‘s for sure! Maybe a school trip.
ReplyDeleteCould be - 'A Day in the Forest.'
DeleteOops! I hope it wasn't stuck.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, the ground is very dry at the moment. Turning round must have been fun, though.
