Augustus Lazarus Cooke, usually known as Gus, Gus-Gus, Gussy or Gustopher, will be one year old next Monday, September 6th. How can he ever have been smaller than our cats? I used to carry him downstairs in the middle of the night when he wanted to go out – I can't lift him now.
He has grown from an adorable small puppy into a handsome, athletic, large dog. He hasn't finished growing yet and will broaden in the coming months. His Labrador instincts are fully developed, evidence of the fine working stock from which he comes. He is intelligent and quick to learn, naughty when the mood takes him (when he hasn't had enough exercise!) and a great smiler.
Awwww....Gustopher is a beautiful dog. And I love the picture of him in the chair with his back side to the camera, and the last one, How could you not love that face!?
ReplyDeleteThe puppy is georgios! So sweet....
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh aT THE photo of him on the sofa. And he surely is athletic jumping at the waves like that. I must comment about the cat though. It has a most gorgous coat. Just a delightful colour.
ReplyDeleteA very handsome dog. And the photographs you took are brilliant, especially the last potrait shot.
ReplyDeleteAh— what a beautiful dog and a face that absolutely twists anyone around his paw.
