Camera Critters #130 Blue tits

The birds are decked out in their new plumage and feeding enthusiastically before the cold weather sets in.
The blue tits seem quite playful! Here is one attempting an alternative landing, coming in sideways. His friend at the top is looking askance but his other friend just carries on feeding.
This little chap has decided to jump down rather than fly!
Ah, I see now! He was practising so he could jump on his friend!

  7. Oh I love these! Great shots! It's difficult to photograph birds. Last week a whole group of long tailed tits landed in the trees here. A loud but funny bunch to watch, but no photos worth saving ;-)
