It has been very windy here in Ohio yesterday and today. It is also very wet and cold. The leaves are falling. The sky is a dark winter gray color. I can't seem to stay warm.
I enjoyed my visit to your blog. I enjoyed looking at the interesting cloud formations.
I love the delicate colours and the silhouettes of the trees in the third shot, but the clouds in the first shot are also interesting! I think I can see them moving!!
Such lovely skies and colors! Love the darkened trees silhouetted against the skies! Terrific captures for the day! Happy SWF! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Don't you just love it when the sky is smattered perfectly with clouds; when the sun comes out at just the right moment to play hide and seek with those few wisps of vapour floating above; when the sky is the bluest blue you've ever seen...? It's hard to come by... :)
Oh, so pretty, Janice, a lovely progression from day through evening.

ReplyDeleteWhat glorious skies. Thanks, Janice.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo, when I was young, my dad taught me this art. put a dollop of paint in the middle of the paper. then use a straw and blow.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have done that. Beautiful.

That second photo is my favourite. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is always a very patient subject to photograph. Or paint, for that matter... :)

Don't you just love the way the sky changes at sunset--if you have patience to wait through all the changes!

Through the dazzling bright blue sky
Pigeons swim and goldfish fly.
If you think that this is strange,
You should see the mountains range!
