Tailspin
As part of his pilot training, Gilbert has to practise getting out of a tailspin.
Meanwhile, Roxy, his instructor, watches from the comfort of HMC (Her Master's Chair) Note that she has rearranged the coverings to her liking. She and Gilbert do this several times a day.
Roxy is squinting to get a really objective view of this most critical part of Gilbert's training. She vehemently denies any notion that she is thoroughly bored with the process and falling asleep.
He is an adorable pup! Thank you, these photos make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Denise. He makes us smile all the time!
DeleteWe laughed and laughed. A cat would NEVER do that....(!) (F tells me I lie.) xxx Mr T
ReplyDeleteI'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, Tigger, but sadly . . . we know cats, too ;-)
ReplyDeleteThere was once a tv segment here called Phunny Photos. Gilbert with his tail in his mouth would have been a good entrant.
ReplyDeleteIt's as though they suddenly realise there's a tail attached somewhere but can't quite realise it's theirs.
DeleteOh bless him. We had a labrador cross when I was a child who would chase his tail, it's something that Archie's never done, though he does sploot!
ReplyDeleteEach dog is unique. That's why they're so entertaining. Nice to hear that Archie sploots :-)
ReplyDeleteNow looking forward to seeing Gilbert master a loop the loop!
ReplyDeleteGiven time and maturity he might just manage that;-)
DeleteHi Janice - they are funny aren't they ... lovely true! story - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThey're real time-wasters - and great fun.
ReplyDeleteThey are certainly entertaining and cute!
ReplyDeleteI think we're obsessed . . . or posessed!
DeleteI wonder if he enjoys the tailspin? It doesn't look fun to me.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't enjoy it, but I don't have a tail!
ReplyDeleteThat's something a cat wouldn't do chase her own tail ! Fortunately it is not allowed anymore to cut off certain dog tails, poor things ! The first time I saw a Boxer with tail and ears I had to look twice to recognize the breed !
ReplyDeleteTails are such an important part of a dog's anatomy.
ReplyDeleteDogs are lovely house pets, we have 2 dogs at our back yard.
ReplyDeleteThey are. We've had so many, all precious and much missed.
