A rare moment of togetherness
Jellicoe and Herschel are litter brothers, but spend more time batting each other than sleeping together.
They are Ocicats. Jellicoe is a Classic, now called an Aztec (!) and Herschel is a standard Ocicat.
We did have three brothers, but Isambard died very young after a strange and short respiratory disease.

Aww! They are supercute heheh! :-0
ReplyDeleteHave a problemsolvingtastic weekend 👍
Thank you.
DeleteTogether but not touching, we note!
ReplyDeleteWell spotted! They are just respecting each other's personal space (and the band played believe it if you like)
ReplyDeleteI remember them well when they arrived in your home and the dogs had to get used to these strange animals. Our first Arthur was one year old when I found him dead at the kitchen door ! I asked for an autopsy he had a heart attack and was only one year old !
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a terrible shock. How sad.
DeleteThey are absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI used to have two litter brothers too, they just tolerated each other, and only stuck together when there was mischief to be done :-) xxx
Cats can change their allegiance so quickly.
DeleteThey are such handsome cats! We have one cat here, Charismatic Enigma SissyCat, who doesn't get along with any other cats since her Mikey died. Some just don't like other cats much, prefering people.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Feline Friday!
Oh, poor girl. Cats can grieve, too.
DeleteThey are lovely. I am sorry about Isambard. Eric and Flynn were littermates and were inseparable.
ReplyDeleteThe sadness of that is when one is left behind after their littermate dies.
DeleteWOW, your kitties are stunning gorgeous. That is sad that you lost Isambard so early.
ReplyDeleteHe was a quiet cat but we discovered that he had been the dominant one ot the three.
DeleteI remember Isambard. I wonder if the others still remember and think about him? I had a toy like that and Angel loved it for about two days, then ignored it.
ReplyDeleteCats are funny with their toys. I think the humans are more excited about them than the cats.
DeleteWhat beautiful coats - and those ears!
ReplyDeleteThey grew into their ears, just as puppies grow into their paws :-)
DeleteHi Janice - they are stunning looking animals ... togetherness = perfect (for now) ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteIt can change in a moment.
DeleteHow beautiful they are. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you - and don't they know it?
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cats Osicats are. Thank goodness the illness did not affect all 3, as the loss of one is so hard on litter mates and humans.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard and we were fortunate that the other two weren't affected. .
