Ah! An act of dominance and establishing the dog as their property.. The licking is generally considered safe and helps build a good relationship between your cat and dog...! :) And Gilbert is loving it...But then so would l...! :O)
Nobby is wondering if being groomed by a cat would be preferable to being groomed by a human. He notes it does look like Gilbert is quite enjoying the experience!
Gilbert seemed to enjoy the attention.
