DeleteIs this the game where the form a scrum by hugging each other in a circle, the circle having unbelievable muscle mass? I was forced to play it at school once or twice. As with any ball game, I did my best to stay away from balls flying through the air.
ReplyDeleteThat's the one. Teams consist of huge men and smaller men and you can see the steam rising from them on a cold day.
DeleteFebruary is one of my favorite months. My husband's birthday is on the 8th and our wedding anniversary is the 10th. A happy birthday to your husband!

Delete< chuckle > Rugby really isn't my thing. I don't think there is an important date for me in February. xx
ReplyDeleteI like rugby, which is fortunate as my husband records a lot of it - particularly league. Still, there's always the option to do something else. x x x
DeleteHappy Birthday to Mr Jabblog.
ReplyDeleteIt will be my sister 's birthday this month too. She is catching up with me!

DeleteMy mother had her birthday on the 2nd February ! I don't know anything about rugby except that it looks quite rough. In Belgium and France they celebrate the St. Chandeleur (candlemas) and we will make crepes as it is the tradition. That will be fun ! I only watch, mine would stick at the ceiling when I turn the crepe in the pan !
ReplyDeleteI used to like making pancakes and loved tossing them. I haven't made any for years since I can't eat eggs. Enjoy yours!

DeleteHappy birthday Barry, and I will try to watch 6 nations but my choice of which one to support doesn't go down well in my English household.
ReplyDeleteBarry says, 'Thank you.' Although we're English, we enjoy all the others and love the Haka - different every time. It really makes the heart race.
