Wednesday’s
Words on a Friday
The original Words
for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable
feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles.
This month the words/prompts
are supplied by Elephant's Child and can be found here
This week's words/prompts
are:
a photo of an old
woman
and/or:
1. destined 2. remarkable 3.
lure 4. aware 5.rules
also including Charlotte's colour
of the month: clay brown
His eyes,
clay brown like liquid honey,
Remarkable,
Remembered
now in old age,
Memorable.
Destined to
lure her against the rules,
Inexorable,
Aware he
would lead her astray,
Inevitable.
She wept
for her innocence lost,
Pitiable,
And hid
her head under her shawl,
Invisible.
I'm not so good at interpreting poems but this was mournful. Good use of the prompts.
