Hi there...just come over from Debby as she thought we might have the same grandson!! Love your little plantpots. I have quite a large collection of succulents ( not to mention many other houseplants!) though I don't have anything with spikes! I am in Hertfordshire so not so far from you......will put you on my blog list and look forward to getting to know you a little. A few of my regular " friends" have dropped off recently and I need more to read during breakfast!
Just catching up so missed your post yesterday but I do love those pots, something I would like to add to my animal collection and the succulents look very nice in them :)
Oh my goodness, they are so cute!! Looks like something I would buy. How fast do cacti grow, anyway? I thought they were slow but that might just be my black thumb :)
How lovely! I have a bunch of little containers like that and I wasn't sure what to put in them. Now I know!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how small they are, even though I'd looked at the dimensions.
DeleteAha! They really are sweet.
ReplyDeleteQuite cute, aren't they?
DeleteThe plants look wonderful in there
ReplyDeleteThe plants finish them off, I think.
DeleteCactus ARE succulents, just with spikes.
ReplyDeleteCertainly closely related :-)
DeleteVery cute! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Janice - I must say I'd thought of cacti - good idea ... fun potplants - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don' know how long they'll survive. I shall have to keep a close eye on them.

Hello, Frances, and welcome:-) I looked for your blog, but perhaps you haven't got one.
DeleteThey are certainly a surprise to see that they are cute little flower pots in they've all been planted up.
ReplyDelete'little' being the operative word!
DeleteHideous.
ReplyDeleteDon't hold back, Tasker - speak your mind;-)
DeleteThey are cute! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wrongly guessed they were egg cups :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteThere wasn't much to go on, really, but I thought the bamboo stands might have given them away:-)
DeleteCute, but as you say they'll need repotting quite quickly .......or you could grow cress in them 😄😉 X
ReplyDeleteAlison in Wales x
The cress idea is growing on me. I used to love egg and cress sandwiches, but now they'd have to be just cress!

ReplyDeleteI just wish they were a little larger (never satisfied!)
DeleteI think they are cute and the plants look so good in them.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you, Jan - I must watch them carefully - can't have them dying on me - well, not yet anyway.
DeleteHow adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the expressions on their faces that I like.
DeleteSo twee!
ReplyDeleteThey are, I know, but I like them :-)

ReplyDeleteThey are quite slow-growing so perhaps they can stay in their little pots a little longer :-)
DeleteVery cute and I love their plant hair.
ReplyDeleteI hope they survive - there's not a lot of room in those little pots!
