Gilbert’s view

Gilbert’s view

                                       The other day, this arrived.

It looked like a cat but it didn’t feel or smell like one. My cats are soft and furry and this one was hard and cold. It didn’t make any noise, either, which was strange. All cats make a noise.

Ah! It's a she and she's called Clarissa.

Then I realised! She was an outdoor cat, like the little boy cat, Cuthbert, with the smiley face. I think she's going to have a plant in her. I wonder what she will have?

How many more of these strange creatures will there be?

  5. Dear beautiful Gilbert, I was just thinking about you this morning and wondering when we might get one of your updates. That's a mildly interesting addition to your family but I wonder if you might have preferred a ball?

  7. Gilbert, be afraid very afraid, I think these are going to start popping up like garden gnomes. However we humans think it's really cute. Can't wait to see it with a flower.

    1. No cat food to try and steal, either, not that he would, of course, at least not while we're looking.

  10. How cute! We once stayed in a vacation house that had a painting on the wall that our dog would not stop barking at. We finally had to take the painting off the wall and put it in a closet, which of course, made all of my kids think the painting might be haunted.
