Togetherness

 Togetherness

Gilbert: I didn't ask Jellicoe to join me. He just appeared.

Then he started washing my ears. I don't mind him washing the outside . . .

. . . but it tickles when he pushed his nose right into the flap and I'm a  bit worried about his teeth. Sometimes, he's a little too enthusiastic.

We're pals, really, though. That's why I put my paw around him. Herschel joins us sometimes, but today he wanted to give himself a pedicure.

    1. Gilbert is actually quite a comedian and knows just how to appeal.

  6. Gilbert must truly be fond of Jellicoe. Who could possibly enjoy feeling a cat's tongue rasping against one's inner ear!

    1. It doesn't take long before a rasping tongue makes my skin quite sore, so I can understand Gilbert's trepidation.

  7. Sweet photos that remind me of our Ace (german shepherd) and Ginger (cat) snuggled together with the galah (pink and grey cockatoo) sitting on Ace's shoulders and all of them sleeping in the sun.

  13. Ours always have, though I don't know why. The cats are the masters and the dogs are big and warm.

    1. It's lovely to see, though they take up quite a lot of room when they get together on our bed.

    1. We have different iterations of dogs and cats going back 40 years and more. It's not something we've trained them to do - it just happens.

    1. I think it's people who don't like dogs or don't like cats who say such silly things!
