Back in the good old days when there were paper newspapers and they had the cartoons in there I would always read Peanuts. Snoopy was always the dog that you wanted to have for your very own pet.
Possibly the most read and loved comic ever. From the top of his house, Snoopy would dream of shooting down the Red Baron. The guy who did it, Roy Brown, came from our town.
My favorite snoopy comic is one I use in my blog. Where Charlie Brown says you only live once, and snoopy corrects him to say, no, you only die once. You live every day. My mantra!
Yes Snoopy, being a human is probably overrated - just chill out on the roof of your kennel and enjoy a dog's life.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Lying out on the roof of my kennel/bed is what works best when the stress is too much.
DeleteDogs are nice people.
DeleteMuch rather be a dog than a human- would much rather be a wolf than a dog! Maybe next time...
ReplyDeleteI prefer my dogs to some of the people I've had the misfortune to meet.
DeleteI've always like Snoopy, he makes everyone smile.
ReplyDeleteCharles Schulz was a genius, I think.
DeleteOh yes, I love Snoopy too. Loyal and sweet natured.
ReplyDeleteAn eternal joy.
DeleteGreat start to the day! Thank you
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know there are so many Snoopy lovers in the world.
DeleteThe collections of Snoopy cartoons were some of our most prized possessions when we were kids. They were shared between us and read avidly. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey never lose their appeal, do they?
DeleteHe belongs to a gentler time, but we need him more now.
ReplyDeleteWe certainly do.
DeleteSnoopy and co. always make me smile too. Must dig out that Peanuts album I've got stashed somewhere ... xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's always worthwhile spending time with Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
DeleteThank you for a great memory
ReplyDelete😀
DeleteI love Snoopy and Charlie Brown. They always give me a big smile and a feel good moment
ReplyDeleteThey're worth their weight in gold. I wonder if Charles Schulz realised what an impact he made on the world.
DeleteI'm a long-time fan of Snoopy and the whole Peanuts gang, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed the videos, too.
DeleteSnoopy is indeed a true friend.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!

ReplyDeleteHe did promote quite a bit of envy . . .
DeletePossibly the most read and loved comic ever. From the top of his house, Snoopy would dream of shooting down the Red Baron. The guy who did it, Roy Brown, came from our town.

DeleteMy daughter is a big Snoopy fan. These are both great. I remember as a kid watching the Charlie Brown specials. Always enjoyed them
ReplyDeleteThey're such fun.

ReplyDeleteSorry your Mr Snoopy is still being a pain!
DeleteMy favorite snoopy comic is one I use in my blog. Where Charlie Brown says you only live once, and snoopy corrects him to say, no, you only die once. You live every day. My mantra!
ReplyDeleteI smile every time I see that on your blog.
DeleteI love Charlie Brown and both of these made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteCharlie Brown and Snoopy will always be rock stars in my world.
ReplyDeleteYou picked two good ones that say important things about life.
ReplyDeleteIf only our human problems could be solved by loving on our dogs - Peanuts is such a timeless cartoon. Our newspaper still carries it.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked Snoopy.
