Exercises
Just a few exercises for the little grey cells.
Q: They can be made, laid down, bent and broken, although it’s difficult to touch them. What are they?
Q: The maker does not need it. The buyer does not use it. The user uses it without knowing. What is it?
Q: I have neither sister nor brother, but my mother’s daughter is the man’s mother. Who am I?
Q: An aircraft carrying 60 Mexican lawyers to a convention in Rio crashed on the border between Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil. Under International Law, where should the survivors be buried?
Well, those require too much thinking for me on a Sunday lol.
ReplyDeleteI know the last one but won’t give it away. in my youth these kind of questions were asked in what we called idiot tests and that was one of the questions in those tests. The other two, well, it’s the end of the day where I live here and mental exercise is not in my near future. I would love to know the answers, though
ReplyDeleteOnly one gave me pause to think - occupied a cup of coffee time.
ReplyDeleteI got #2 and #4 only because I'd heard them before!
ReplyDeleteI knew 1,2 and 4 because I’ve heard them but 3 confuses me. I think I figured it out but will wait for the answer.
ReplyDeleteI know 1, 3 and 4, but 2 has me stumped unless my guess is correct.
ReplyDeleteI've an answer for #1 bit like don't know if I'm right. I know 3 and 4 but 2? Hmm.
ReplyDeleteI'm stick on 2....
ReplyDeleteNot sure about 4. I would have to cheat and use Professor G.
