I blogged while I was still employed.. fitting it in between students' needs, the children and grandchildren, shopping and cooking. But then COVID arrived, the grandchildren needed me only one day a week and unemployment filled the week. Our blogs can sometimes SAVE our lives, thankfully.
You say, "No Post" but then you give us a tantalising post. "Cast down by events" sounds kind of biblical or perhaps you have been overthinking the summit in Alaska.
I'm sure that many loggers get the same feeling from time to time.
