Indoor gardening

Indoor gardening . . .

. . . takes longer than you think!

  1. At thus time of year everything is silk, so just a quick shake to remove any dust.

  2. Is this the start of a poem?

And likewise cleaning the kitchen sink
But these are jobs we have to do
Use "Cillit Bang!" to cleanse the loo!
Especially if Barry has just sat in there
The odour of which drifts everywhere.

  3. ...which is why the only "gardening" I do is walking round with my little yellow watering can once or twice a week and give the few potted plants I own a sip of water.

    1. Very wise. I've never managed to restrict myself, but at least the plants are (mostly) in the conservatory.

  4. Yes...yes it does. I presently have many green pots in our home. Hoping they all make it through the Winter....including my edibles.

  7. Still concentrating on the outdoor ones. I imagined you were teferring to housework but realuze from comments you have a conservatory full of plants. I guess a greenhouse could be indoor gardening too.

  8. Correct! The plants flourished out of doors on their summer holidays, but they need to be split and repotted, and space must be found . . .

    1. We should really restrain ourselves, but I love plants, especially those that flower.

  16. I don't do indoor gardening, too many allergies. I barely even do outdoor gardening and am surprised when things survive year after year.

  17. My indoor garden consists of an aloe plant and a Christmas cactus.

  18. I love our lush large front garden and smaller back garden, so have little need for indoor gardening. But our bath adjoins a decent cactus garden, which absorbs all the excess water from the bath. Each cactus branch is HUGE!
