Weekend Reflections #43, Shadow Shot Sunday #113 Kiri

14-year-old Kiri went to a photo shoot a couple of weeks ago and here she is recreating some of the moments (though I gather she wasn't supposed to smile!!) The make-up is much heavier than she would normally wear!

Kiri enjoys larking around, pretending she's something she's not. Much of the time I was laughing so hard I could hardly hold the camera!

No reflections in this last one - just shadows and Kiri looking reflective.

6:30 on a misty late June morning with the promise of heat to follow. The channel markers guide yachts through the narrow channels of the Beaulieu River in Hampshire (UK) a birdwatcher's paradise.

The Royal Observatory, Greenwich is home to London's only planetarium, the Peter Harrison Planetarium. It seems only right that it should be reflecting the sky on this bright June day.

This brass plaque commemorates the lying in state of Admiral Lord Nelson in the Painted Hall of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. I didn't realise there was a reflection on it of the ceiling of the Painted Hall. 

Nelson was killed at Trafalgar on 21st October 1805. His body was placed in a cask of brandy which was later replaced with spirits to preserve it during the long journey home.
