Classic yachts
A fleet of classic yachts is currently sailing in the Solent. The photographs were taken from the television so the quality is not brilliant. These beautiful boats, clinker built, and probably over a hundred years old, look most impressive when in full sail.
Because they are wooden
craft they need a lot of maintenance. Refits are costly and sailing such a boat
requires an experienced skipper and enthusiastic crew.
They are a sight for sore eyes!
