ABC Wednesday Round 3 R is for Roses

Everything in the garden seems to be rather late this year. I am looking forward to next month when our roses should finally be blooming.
These are photographs from previous years. Our roses have to work very hard - they have to flower, preferably for several months and have sweet scent and some of them have to climb and clamber over the arches.
I haven't given their names - pushed for time today :-(

    Another ABCer has a photo of her first bloom rose, I was very wistful after seeing that. I will have to tell mine to get on with it:-) Yours are a lovely dream of those to come.

    These are gorgeous photos! I don't have much luck with growing roses - that's why my hubby usually buys cut flowers for me! lol

    Don't you just love roses? But my favorite flower of spring is the lilac. I just pruned my lilac bush into a tree and it looks nice. I enjoy your beautiful photos. I signed up to follow. Stop by my place and I promise...no weeding.
