Each week she posts a photographic prompt for inspiration and the challenge is to write a story using no more than 140 characters or words.
Below is this week's photo followed by my offering.
It was a tribute to the police that the traffic was able to keep moving on that wet and windy day and that there were no accidents.
(131 characters and very lame!)
It is a story though! I like the picture.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. Well done
ReplyDeleteThe police do a great job. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteThe police over here could learn something from them ;-)
ReplyDeletewell done. on a day like that it would be a miracle to have no accidents!
ReplyDeleteFun! Thanks Janice. I enjoy your take on this particular meme.
ReplyDeleteYaay to safety.
ReplyDeleteGreat micro. You ahve an award on my blog :O)
ReplyDeleteWhat would we do without the traffic police eh! Very good.
ReplyDeleteno accidents on a day like that is surprising!
ReplyDeleteIt was also a tribute to those drivers! You get extra credit for your use of "tribute." I laughed a lot at your parenthetical remarks.
ReplyDeleteAt least for once they were useful, lol !
ReplyDeleteExcellent prompt and excellent response.
ReplyDeleteI always feel sorry for the police who have to direct traffic in the rain. Not much of a "Kojak" moment for them. . .they do often prevent accidents, though!
ReplyDeleteWell said in less than 140 characters. For sure, driving in that sort of weather can be very scary!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of driving in that kind of weather. It's the other drivers that scare me!

Tossing It Out
No accidents are always a plus-and you used this week's word! (Not many did, so congrats!)
ReplyDeleteWell said, Janice!
ReplyDeleteThe police surely benefit from that. I wouldn't want to be getting out of a patrol car after there's been a rainy day accident. Thoughtful mf.
ReplyDeleteGood job creating a story from the prompt. The police would surely appreciate the credit.
