Friday
Night Dinner
Friday Night
Dinner, known to the cognoscenti (love
that word!) as FND, starts a second series on Sunday 7th October.
You may hate it – that’s your prerogative, but if you like it, even love it, don’t
forget to turn on and tune in to Channel 4(that sounds
rather old-fashioned, somehow, like a 60s rock ‘n’ roll show) on Sunday 7th October at 10.00 p.m. (or 22.00 hours)
I am reliably informed by sources close to the writer (actually the writer himself) that Grandma features quite heavily. Of course, he may be teasing . . .
My apologies to those of you who may not be able to access the YouTube clip.
LOL. "I'm all randy" Why have I never seen this before? Really must watch more tv. :-)

ReplyDeleteOH dear, I'll try one more time. I said "I guess we'll be seeing this over here in a year or two. Our shows are all cop shows about ghastly sex crimes -- or reality shows with empty headed 'heroes' in extreme situations."
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this. I'm not so sure we have in Hawaii, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteHa ha almost enough to make me buy a tele.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard that expression (randy) for years!
ReplyDeleteI simply must see if I can live stream this! I have to see it - somehow - am starved of British humour.
(Great that you know the writer)
Don't believe I've ever seen this one. Maybe not in Canada. Pity.
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot, thanks Janice!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I think the CBC will probably show this in a few years. Looks fun.
ReplyDeleteI love this show :) and am looking forward to the second series! The dad is brilliant.
