Having eaten his fill this song thrush found he had urgent matters to attend to and took off at speed from the fat cake and into the wide blue yonder.
Barry dubbed him Top Gun or, if you're in the UK, Biggles! He almost looks as though he's wearing a leather flying helmet and rather discreet goggles!
Some interesting thoughts and shots here. I'll be back.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you, Birdman. Thank you:-)
ReplyDeleteThe wood thrush looks like it has been shot out of a canon! It sure seems to be in a hurry!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shot, go Biggles go!
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture! Talk about having your camera ready at the right time. Kudos ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Now there's an action photo. Great capture!
ReplyDeleteGee, it looks like someone just tossed him out like throwing a ball! Good photo capture that makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteThat was a perfect timing! And Barry's imagination suits well :)
ReplyDeleteWednesday Wallpaper - 4 Black-Winged Stilts
Thank you all.
ReplyDeleteStine, I thought he looked as though shot from a cannon too!
hrg,Bhavesh: Barry had set his camera on a tripod and left it to capture what it would. Unsurprisingly, since it was a breezy day, there were lots of shots of empty feeders . . . thank goodness for digital photography ;-)
GO, BIGGLES!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing capture! And he's well fed and intent all right. Love the cat-face in today's post. One blog friend said that these stripey cats (and my Bean too) are so 'squishy' and feel like they're wearing their pajamas. Perfectly sweet?
ReplyDeleteA great capture of this lovely little bird.
