Barry wasn't intending to take a camera out in the fog on Tuesday.
I'm very pleased that he did.
The fog was thicker in some places than others and remained all day.
Evening came early so we had a log fire to give a cheering glow.

I like simple compositions, and may be for the same reason, I liked the last photograph most.
ReplyDeleteI love the row of trees in the pond and the stillness of the foggy reflection. It was nearly dark at half three today!
ReplyDeleteEven though foggy, it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like foggy photos. Everything looks softer and, like in a fairy tale, mysterious.November is the month of remembrance for me in more than one way. My father and husband both died in November.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, I love those foggy scenes. Happy Skywatching!
ReplyDeleteI think the fog helps create charming photos. I'm jealous about that log fire!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Janice. Fog is so beautiful unless you have to drive in it.

I'm always amazed at how many different reflection picture there are... and none are the same.
ReplyDeleteI really like yours.
The photos are really lovely - the refections in the second are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he took the camera out, too. Fog has so many moods. This is not an ominous fog at all.

Wow! Your header photo jumped out at me. That's fabulous. I love your misty fog photos. They are very artistic and gorgeous! You'll need to cook up something special for Barry.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful misty pictures, but it looks like a good day to spend indoors....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and scenery! Glad someone went out in the fog:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful foggy shots! Magical and mysterious...
ReplyDeleteTypical November weather ! we had such a fog here that I couldn't see my neighbour's house across the street ! I am in Amsterdam right now and have seen my little grandson a photo is on Writer Cramps.
ReplyDeletePhotographs shot through the fog too have their own kind of beauty. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful panoramic capture of the trees with the fog surrounding them.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of photos in the fog. Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe don't often see fog here, so in photos it gives a nice moodiness... especially when that's a good reason to light up a log. I particularly like the third photo.
ReplyDeleteWe woke up to a foggy sky too but the sun came out in the afternoon for a couple of hours.
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is my favourite here.
Have a lovely weekend!
I'm glad he took the camera, too. Great photo of the misty trees, and the reflections in the water are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am very glad he did too. Fog is so atmospheric with its own rhythm. Lovely shots.
