Camera Critters - Contentment

Monty the chocolate silver Ocicat with Frodo the Faller.

Monty was born into a house with a black Giant Schnauzer who took all the many cats and kittens in her stride. His particular favourite of our four dogs is Jenna-the-Labrador, a small black working Lab.

Frodo was born into a Dalmatian breeding kennels and had never met cats face to face before he came to live with us when he was five months old. He then met our two elderly blue Burmese and was extraordinarily gentle with them, mourning them when they travelled on.

  5. Oooh, so sweet! I wish mine would do that if I ever were to have a dog living here, but I don't see it happening, they don't even get along with each other!

  7. When my husband and I moved to Chicago for grad school, we got a kitten to teach our bulldog that cats weren't food. Zach (the dog) and Maggie (the cat) got along splendidly. He absolutely adored her, and for the first two weeks she lived with us she was soaking wet from being licked constantly. She was sad for weeks after he died, and she outlived him by about fifteen years. We lost her just last month, but had wonderful memories of the two of them together. Thanks for the sweet photo that brought it all back.
