April A to Z blogging challenge The Thief of Time

The Thief of Time
Steals my days
And makes me indolent.

Time marches on
Relentlessly -
I watch it go.

Those moments gone
Will not return
But still I dream.

To stand and stare
Is Life’s rich gift –
There’s always time.

  2. Wonderful poem. How true that time keeps marching on...as we watch it. And once it is gone, it will never again return. I don't know about there always being time though....sometimes one's time runs out.

  6. Time keeps on slipping into the future.

Time and motion wait for no man.

This made me stop and spend time pondering the words and what bthey mean to me, what time means to me. I love the phrase, "Spending time" It's like we have so muchnof it and we spend some here and spend some there, like money, I want to save some for the future. You've made me think, nmow I'll have something to do with my time.

    Peace
