Book Blurb Friday #9

This meme is hosted by Lisa Ricard Claro at ‘Writing in the BuffJ

Each week she posts a photo that could be the cover of a book. The aim is to:
‘Write a book jacket blurb (150 words or less) so enticing that potential readers would feel compelled to buy the book.’

Here is this week's photo followed by my offering.

  2. J. - What a great idea! Not only what the book includes inside, but how the photo matches it perfectly.

    Way to go!

  3. Ahhhh, you went for the travel guide option. You've covered all the desires. I'll have to get that for our next trip!

  4. I could honestly use a book like this! Trying to accommodate the whole family is tough. I think you've matched the photo beautifully, too. It was taken at the beach, but it might just as easily have been taken at the park or on a mountain hike. Terrific blurb!

  5. Nothing says travel like a pair of sunglasses! Now where's the book? Good one.

  6. Great idea to do a travel guide! Nicely written, too. You sold me on it.

  7. heheh I do love your travel guides. My order: sun, mountains and gorgeous men!

  8. For some reason, I've always associated these blurbs with fiction. You've certainly changed that. What a wonderful idea.
