The Literary Cat

Hurry up and turn the page - I've finished!
Winston enjoys reading in bed. The first photo shows what a quick reader he is.
He was reading Margaret Atwood’s ‘Good Bones.’

He and I enjoyed this book. We agreed that this collection of thoughts and observations perfectly displayed her talents and the breadth of her knowledge and understanding.

From ‘The Little Red Hen Tells All’ through ‘Stump Hunting’ to ‘My Life as a Bat’ and ‘Dance  of the Lepers’, the humour and intelligence shine through each of these small tales.

  3. Winston has good taste in literature, Janice. You should be very proud of him. Some cats prefer "Puss in Boots" repeated endlessly, or a spirited rendering of "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss.
Margaret Atwood is a good choice, Winston.

  4. I do wish my cats would develop more of an interest in good books, I can't seem to get them away from the television!

  5. Hmmm... it's past midnight. I think I'll have to go to bed now and read my Kindle for a while too so I can go to sleep.

  7. I shouldn't have showed your pictures to Rosie now she also wants a Kindle !
The ebook readers are starting slowly here in Belgium, there are not enough books to read in French and not everybody knows English !
