Reminds me of my George...Bless him...! He'd jump off the bed in the early hours, l'd go downstairs, let him out the dinning room window, l'd go back to bed...he'd be out 5~10 minutes, or even longer, when he'd want to come back in, he'd rattle the back door handle, l'd go down let him in, he'd run up the hall, and leave a pressie for me on the mat, on the inside of the front door...we would both get back to bed, and hopefully resume our sleep...!
Our Burmese cats used to catch frogs and sit round them in a circle. Sadly, sometimes the frog would have suffered an amputation, severely affecting its mobility. Cats are evil, sometimes!
HaHa! Yes! George was naughty to... He'd pick up a frog from the pond at the top of the garden, carry it down to the patio, and place it on the floor...then poke it with his paw, to make it jump, only 3~4 times, get fed up, and just walk away, leaving me to pick up the frog, and take it back to the pond...he never hurt or injured the frog in any way...l still swear blind, to this day it was always the same frog...! :)
Oh!! ... fun ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteIt's the cat's expression that amuses me.
