    Hmmm... an iron handle or something? for the firewood? Give up! But your shot is so cool.

    It is actually the stand for fire irons. The arms hold a poker, a brush, a pan and fire tongs. It is empty of its tools because Gus,(10 weeks old) like all young puppies, likes brooms and brushes and pulled the fire irons over.
