These are great moon shots! I missed seeing the blue moon last night, and this is the only one I've seen posted. Thanks for showing it. Happy New Year!
This is the first photo of a blue moon I've ever seen--fantastic shot! We had clouds covering the sky last night, so didn't see it. Thanks for sharing it! Happy New Year.
Pamela - thank you:-) Margaret - Barry took these through the glass roof of the conservatory (it was COLD outside!) He used his Canon EOS 5D MkII The first shot was 1/100 sec at f5.6 ISO 3200 with a 300 mm lens f4 with 1.4 extender. Shots 2 and 3 were 1/13 sec at f5.6 ISO 3200 with a 420 mm lens f4L with 1.4 extender. The last one was the same but for 1/60 sec exposure. Hope that makes sense - me, I just point, shoot and hope for the best ;-) Sylvia - thank you! I hope you and John have a happy and healthy New Year and that Jack's skin has cleared up, poor little dog!
Awesome blue moon pictures. No bad for me, I wanted to take pictures, as well, but rain and clouds fill the skies here. Have a Happy New Year, and thanks for sharing.
Rajesh, storyteller - thank you. Chris - thank you. I hope you're not completely snowbound. It looks beautiful but can be a nuisance. Ivon - thank you. Bad luck about the rain and clouds - we've had plenty of those too :-)
I love your blue moon shots. Great shots of the blue moon.
ReplyDeleteWe had clouds and rain last night so we couldn't see the moon.
What a shame Eileen but thank you. The clouds were scudding so quickly across our sky that we were lucky to get any shots at all!
