This is Winston in 'very alert' mode, whiskers well forward to catch even the faintest nuance of a scent.
Winston and Monty have an occasional spat. Monty is the usual instigator but Winston isn't entirely blameless. The other day, after Monty had been consigned to the conservatory for 'time out' I found this whisker. I don't know who it belongs to - neither of the cats looks short of a full set. This whisker is 3" (just over 7 1/2 cms) long.
Thank you to Misty Dawn and Tammy for hosting this entertaining meme.

Are they sneaking in friends, while you are gone? Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLOL! It would be a brave cat that would face three Dalmatians and a Labrador!
ReplyDeleteAlert is right! At attention! That's quite a whisker!
ReplyDeleteMy what long whiskers you have!
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling at the name Winston. My daughter's cat is named Winston. He recently escaped her apartment and sadly hasn't returned. We think someone catknapped him.
Love the perspective of your shot!
Carletta’s Captures.
Thank you Snap - quite a whisker for quite some cat . . .
ReplyDeleteCarletta - your daughter must be so upset. It's awful not knowing what has happened - I do hope there will be a happy ending.

ReplyDeleteOuch, that must have been a pretty good battle.
ReplyDeletelicks and sniffs, Sasha
Thank you JD and Max and Sasha - we didn't hear any cries of pain . . .
ReplyDeleteThe top image is so sharp, that the whiskers look like giant nasty spikes! Perfect image for illustrating that set he has!
ReplyDeleteThank you Manz - he is the softest cat imaginable.
